This will take place during Martin Luther King Jr. Weekend, January 18-20 at the Verdugo Pines Bible Camp site. Anyone and everyone is invited to attend (please be aware there is a $40 fee!) as it will be a time of good fellowship, spiritual nourishment and altogether a great way to start this new quarter. Please contact your respective staffers if you would like to go!
HOPE EVERYONE IS HAVING A GREAT WEEK 1
- UCLA VERITAS FORUM 2013
UCLA’s Veritas Forum is right around the corner! The Veritas Forum is an organization that establishes an academic setting to discuss about the relevance and impact of Christianity in the world today. Don’t miss out on hearing the renowned international speaker and Christian philosopher, Ravi Zacharias come speak!
We encounter an incredible diversity of cultures, lifestyles, and faiths. Unfortunately our conflicting identities and beliefs often exclude others. Is there truth to real acceptance and inclusion?
We are anticipating a full house at Royce Hall for Ravi Zacharias’ presentation! We want to give UCLA students the first opportunity to see Ravi Zacharias, so we will be checking IDs at the door, and UCLA students will be given priority seating.
Extended Q&A following the dialogue with Dr. Zacharias and Michael Ramsden, Lecturer in Christian Apologetics at Wycliffe Hall, Oxford and Joint Director of the Oxford Centre for Christian Apologetics. Reception with refreshments served.
Priority Seating: Free tickets for UCLA BruinCard holders. Limit 2 per person. Available at UCLA Central Ticket Office starting Monday, Jan. 7. General Admission: No ticket required. Overflow seating in Ackerman Grand Ballroom. *Doors open at 7:00 PM. Doors close at 7:30 PM.
Students can pick up FREE tickets (limit is 2) at the CTO office for priority seating. This is highly recommended as this event is expecting a big audience!
