Below we have some info to help you get to know us. But of course, you’ll know a lot more about us in person.
What’s Life Christian Fellowship?
We’re a campus student group that is all about the life found in Jesus Christ. We want to make the most of our college years the best way we know how– by studying the Bible together, deepening our prayer life with God and developing meaningful relationships with one another.
Maybe you’ve got questions about Christianity and don’t know where to start. Or maybe you’re looking for a home away from home during your college years. Either way, come join us for Bible Study and learn about God’s extravagant love together. Everyone is welcome and you don’t have to be a Christian to join our group.
When are the regular meetings?
For this Fall 2015 quarter, our weekly Tuesday Bible Studies are in Kerckhoff 133 and 135 at 7:00pm.
What can I expect when I come to Bible study?
We usually meet for about an hour or two, starting with dinner, then Bible study.
What if I’m not Christian?
That’s okay. Our group consists of both Christians and non-Christians who want to learn more about God. We encourage everyone to check out the claims of the Bible no matter where they’re coming from.
What is Bible study like?
We come together every Tuesday evening to study the Word of God through specific passages in the Bible. Whether you are a Christian or someone who just wants to learn more about Christianity, we invite you to join us and find out the truth of the Bible for yourself. We meet from 7:00-9 PM for dinner, Bible Study, and discussion.
What is one-on-one discipleship?
We offer opportunities for one-on-one Bible Study through the gospel of John to those who are interested. Each one-hour session covers a small portion of the book of John with relevant questions about the passage. You will have the chance to study the text with someone who is knowledgeable about the Bible and examine what God has to say to you personally through John on many levels.
So, what are small groups?
Our small group is a place where you can meet in an intimate setting of 4-5 people to read and discuss different texts. In the past, we have read the book Purpose Driven Life by Rick Warren together. Each group decides how, where, and when to meet with one another. It’s a place where you can be yourself and share your thoughts freely, as well as listen to what others have to say and pray for one another.
Is there more info on the local church Life Baptist Church?
