- Looking for a Church?
Life Baptist Church, which sponsors Life Christian Fellowship, holds worship service every Sunday at 4:00pm. What’s also pretty cool is that the church is only 10 min away from campus, at the corner of Barrington and Santa Monica. We offer rides to church from campus at Deneve Turnaround at 3:30pm. Call Kevin at 808.391.9149 and we’ll make sure you have a ride.
For more information, you can visit LBC’s website at www.lifebaptist.org.

Most importantly, we pray that you will be able to find a spiritual home where you can genuinely grow and experience God.

And congrats to our PhD sisters from the Grad group. Dr. Loan Pham and Dr. Anna Joaquin… has a nice ring to it. Good luck as you begin your academic and teaching careers at Pepperdine and CSUN. May you too also live for Christ alone.
Wow, 2010-2011 comes to a close. Angela, Sasoon, Hannah and I want to say thank you to all of you for your love, prayers and fellowship over the many years we served together on campus. God has called each of us to a new direction.
Most of all we thank God for the grace He has given us for calling us to Him, saving us and giving us an abundant and worthy life. Let’s run the race and stay on the narrow road towards God no matter where we are. This song by Steven Curtis Chapman is an oldy but it sums up well how there is no other road we’d rather be on than the one that Jesus leads us on.

In last week’s in bible study, James talked about living a life worthy of the grace we have recieved in Christ that is motivated by love. He gave the example of a catholic priest, Father Tae-suk Lee, who left Korea to help the people of war-torn Sudan as a medical missionary. A documentary on his life ”Don’t Cry, Tonj” is available on youtube with English subtitles:
