What we do

We meet Friday nights on campus for a time of praise and Bible Study. You will find an atmosphere that welcomes questions and open discussion. Join us afterwards for fellowship activities like bowling, gym nights, ice skating, movies and of course going out to eat where we’ll have fun and get to know one another. During the week we also get together for one-on-one discipleship and small groups (both undergrad and grad), pray, do homework, or just hang out.

From time to time we also have recreational activities with LCFs at Caltech and at USC. A sample of our activities in the past include sports picnics, hiking trips, ski trips, as well as visits to local attractions like Getty Museum and Hollywood Bowl.

Each summer, there are also opportunities to join one- to two-week mission trips. In the past we have served in Mexico, China, Japan, Korea, and Uzbekistan, often mingling with local college students. It has been an eye-opening experience every time.

Regular Meetings

Fall Quarter:
Friday Night Bible Study
7:00pm
Location TBD

Bible Study Discussion What can I expect when I come to Bible study?
We usually meet for about an hour or two, which includes a time of praise and Bible study. If you have time, you can stick around for different activities ranging from bowling to going to Monterey Park for a late night snack.

What if I’m not Christian?
That’s okay. Our group consists of both Christians and non-Christians who want to learn more about God. We encourage everyone to check out the claims of the Bible no matter where they’re coming from.

What is Bible study like?
We come together every Friday evening to study the Word of God through specific passages in the Bible. Whether you are a Christian or someone who just wants to learn more about Christianity, we invite you to join us and find out the truth of the Bible for yourself. We meet from 7-9 P.M. for praise time, Bible Study, discussion, and snacks. Afterwards, we have fun fellowship activities like gym night, tennis, eating in Korea town or playing games.

What is one-on-one discipleship?
We offer opportunities for one-on-one Bible Study through the gospel of John to those who are interested. Each one-hour session covers a small portion of the book of John with relevant questions about the passage. You will have the chance to study the text with someone who is knowledgeable about the Bible and examine what God has to say to you personally through John on many levels.

So, what are small groups?
Our small group is a place where you can meet in an intimate setting of 4-5 people to read and discuss different texts. In the past, we have read the book Purpose Driven Life by Rick Warren together. Each group decides how, where, and when to meet with one another. It’s a place where you can be yourself and share your thoughts freely, as well as listen to what others have to say and pray for one another.

What is a summer mission trip?
Every summer, we have a one-week mission trip to places like Japan, Korea, and China to experience God in a whole new setting. The summer mission team usually leads the campus outreach activities in the local universities with the missionaries there. Every mission trip is unique and full of surprises, as God works in such amazing ways!
