In the coming months, we’ll be serving with World Impact to provide free basic health screening to underserved populations within LA who do not have access to medical care, and with Children’s Hunger Fund to help send toys to impoverished families. Like we’ve been learning through the bible studies in Acts, through these concrete avenues we want not only to assist in meeting people’s immediate physical needs but help meet the ultimate need, as God sees it, for Jesus.
Please pray as some of us will be volunteering at a health fair this Saturday, 11/2. The fair is sponsored by Jefferson Community Church, a church planted by World Impact for the community near USC.
