Mary Poplin is a professor of education and a sought-after speaker for the Veritas Forum. We are fortunate to have hosted an evening with Mary at Life Baptist Church of West L.A. (link to Mary’s Veritas page)

Mary was formerly a radical feminist, then became a Christian at age 41, and then spent several months with Mother Teresa, and has written a book about finding her calling through her time in Calcutta. She candidly shared her life experiences and share how she became a Christian, and the drastic difference her decision has made in her life.

She also talked about the prevailing & dominant ideologies on the college campus today, with a challenge to live authentic lives and to embody the life forgiven so that the impact of the word of Christ may be felt by those around us. Thank you, Mary!
