Life Christian Fellowship at Caltech is co-sponsoring a talk by Dr. Francis Collins (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Francis_Collins_(geneticist)), the former head of The Human Genome Project on its campus. The talk is this Thursday (Feb. 5) at 8:00pm on CalTech campus in Pasadena. He is a former atheist (according to Wiki) who, as an adult, became Christian.

His talk is titled “The Language of God: A Scientist Presents Evidence for Belief.” (also the title of his book)  Just a side note, in Ravi Zacharias’ book, he mentions about attending an eye-opening talk that Collins gave about his work with DNA and his faith.

In a packed auditorium, Dr. Collins talked about how evolution (from a genetics perspective) and one’s faith in Christianity do not stand at odds, but actually that the intricacies of life point to a designer.  He had a chance to share briefly and personally about how, as an adult and a medical professional, he became a Christian.
